Hello, and welcome to my website. My name is Bill Schueneman, and I have been a piano tuner – technician for over forty years. During this time, it has been my privledge to service pianos at the factory, retail, institutional, and individual level.
I started out in SW Michigan, where I bought, sold, and serviced both new and used pianos. In 1980, I moved my young family to Georgia, where I was hired as a technician for the Jim Scott Piano and Organ Company in Atlanta.
In 1985, I went to work for the Baldwin Piano Company in their Atlanta Retail Division. As head technician, my duties included prepping new instruments coming from the factory, as well as addressing all warranty related repairs on newly sold pianos. And since Baldwin supplied the pianos for the Atlanta Symphony’s summer series at Chastain Park, it was my responsibility to service these instruments before and during the concerts.
In 2001, I went to work for Cooper Music – a family owned dealership that was about to celebrate their 100th anniversary in the piano business. My job there entailed tuning, warranty-related repairs, and shop work that included rebuilding, as well as case and finish repair.
In 2014, I moved to St Simons Island, Georgia. I’m still an active piano tuner, returning tho the Atlanta area for a week to ten days every month. I’m also currently looking to expand my piano tuning business in the Glynn County area.
It would be an honor to service your piano. Please call, text, or email me is you have any questions.
Thank you!
